Learn How To Learn

Fortunately I happen to join a course conducted in coursera by Dr. Barbara Oakley, Dr. Terrence Sejnowski on "Learning how to learn". It's a four week course I suggest everyone to take the course. 

Let me represent pictorially on how one can effectively learn  

Human brain have two modes for learning and problem solving. 

• Diffuse mode
• Focused mode

Focus mode is what we usually use while learning. Try googling about diffuse mode and how to use, you will come across amazing facts about it.

Integrating Eclipse IDE with Git Using EGit

Unix users usually does all their check-in (commit) using terminal. But I find it is consuming lot of time. Yes, I agree it provides more control over the repository. If you repository is solely used by you, I suggest using plugin. Egit is a plugin provided by eclipse team to integrate with Git.

Installing Git in mac (configuration of git will be discussed in my future blog).

Installing Eclipse in mac

Open Eclipse -> Help -> Install new software - > Egit.
To import your repository to your ide.
Import project -> git -> project from git -> Clone URI -> paste URI* -> Choose general projects.

An Overview about my blog

As everyone in the world who have access to internet starts to write a blog, I can be no different. But why do people write blogs? Is it because it's easy? Yes, creating a first blog could be a cake walk, but what happens after that?.....

Let us reason out why we start to write blog

So why do we discontinue, is it because our mind change and hence idea of writing a blog ends. Every human needs a motivation or a strong reason for doing things, if both are missing then we stop. Let me tell you why I started blogging in the first place.
